Friendly reminder to reflect on your GM experiences on Glassdoor, Quora, etc. So, that when the dust settles, future algo/autonomous/ADAS talent will know how GM treats its people (helpful for out of state people that have to move families/sell houses etc. just to get let go 6 months later).
Payment details: Regular pay throughout Feb, you get the bonus for 2018 and pro-rated through 2019, severance is 2 weeks per yr worked, you get to keep your corp cell phone and cool backpack (thank god), un-used vacation is not paid out (wow), tough luck if you're not vested (also wow), and tuition reimbursement on the 2/15 paycheck is tbd.
I don't see how anyone will want to stay here after this - easily one of the most hilariously brutal experiences I've ever witnessed at a company (everyone watching over their half-cubes like paranoid prairie dogs for the next FCF victim to get tossed into the Kondo pit). Keep an eye out for when a director level adds you as a friend on Skype all of a sudden.
