Our team has a pool on the number of employees who will leave our great CHK between March & June (after bonuses are paid). My money is on 48 individuals at the corporate level & 24 individuals at the field level who will depart by the end of June on their own accord. Make your prop bets here! What is your guesstimate?

Hey 4crp,
Since you are so flipping smart; what is your guess smart guy? We will se who is closer!
While you are at it, start a betting pool on whether the sun will come up tomorrow, whether we will all have to pay taxes and whether we will all die at some point. Your numbers show one of two things. Either: (1) you actually think things are great, because the usual numbers for the company and every other company after bonuses are paid out are typically much higher, or (2) you are a complete id--t. Let’s start a pool on that. I’ll take number 2.
I hope so many people leave that they either have to go back and rehire positions that the company has just released, or they choose not too and force the already overburdened employees out the door. At a certain point, you can only eliminate so many jobs before the vital things stop getting performed. And now that we know that all the different BU and departments are going to be making cuts per the EHS VP, we can all start making plans in case it’s one of us. That makes me wonder how much the other VPs appreciate her alerting everyone else of the upcoming plan.
Let’s hope it’s in the hundreds. Will save the company having to pay severance and lower g/a!
Why don't you leave the company if you're not happy? I'll tell you why...because no one wants you.
My guess is 20 corporate employees & 20 field level employees. I know of four here in our field office who are planning on leaving after bonuses are paid. Keep us posted on the grand total at the end of June. Curious how close I get.
