Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Big Bad Wolves

Evening commarades,

As I've been analyzing the forums over the past few years I've noticed people seem to be overwhelmed with feeling powerless. We must change this attitude if we want to encourage equality and instead use this energy to counter the wolves atop of us all. I believe the best tactic is simple documentation as a collective. You can do this with smartphones which have word processing and cameras embedded inside of them. I would also encourage WhatApp. They use it and we can also. At some point we will need to communicate beyond this forum I'm positive in my assetment its monitored. Once we can collaborate enough information the next move can be calculated.

*Add a B in your Lowes chant.. B-L-O-W-E-S.. sneak it in until others pick up on it so your not targeted.

You are a dumb--s, to first reply. Socialism is based on employee owned companies, what lowes USED to be, not shareholder owned companies where management is f** terrible. Management is the issue and this poor management is caused by capitalism's shortcomings. Duh.

In a "socialist" employee owned company everyone would be working for the SAME goal. In a shareholder owned company management is looking too make as much as possible with as little EFFORT. It's not about giving your all, taking care of the customer, or being your best. It's only about the BOTTOM LINE.

Back in the day, when companies were largely locally owned, EVERYTHING was DIFFERENT. Please use your brain and think about the business culture we have NOW.

By the way culture rhymes with vulture.

When you say comrades you sound socialist, that’s what killed Lowe’s to begin with. Lowe’s was an employee owned company. Pure capitalist, at the end of the year we got profit sharing based on how well the company did. Those that were motivated moved up and got bonuses, bonuses were based on the department meeting sales goals. If seasonal bonused and tools didn’t, the odds were someone in seasonal would get promoted and someone in tools would get moved to a department that better fit his/her skillset. There is no motivation to move everyone around. Now just a few people do the bulk of the work and many people slip by. Reviews are based on the collective not the individual. Now strong individuals go to companies where they will be paid based on performance. I’m not carrying dead weight. Now I make sales, I get big bonuses and commissions. If the person next to me doesn’t. They won’t have that job for long. Maybe Lowe’s would be a better fit for them.

I too am looking to leave. I find my skills and knowledge are no longer an asset. I’m tired of dealing “managers (lol)” who are younger than my children are do nothing and know nothing. Finally once Marvin gets the stock over $100.00 I’ll be dumping my Lowe’s stock as well.

Or you can do as I am and leave the company. It's better to watch a ship sink while standing on the bank than the front deck.
