Almost 100 contracted employees were let go from EOG Resources in Stanley, ND with no notice of termination. Some are expecting children in the next few weeks. They say they are loyal to their employees, but that's false. EOG isn't as great a place to work as they say, it's all about the money.

My best friend was just laid off from EOG. Back in February, there were some layoffs and he voiced his concern and asked point blank if he had to worry about his job and should he start looking elsewhere. They laughed at him, saying there's no way he would be laid off as he's great at his job, the bosses love him and he takes care of his guys...Well that didn't mean a thing to EOG and two months later, he's been let go.
My boss from the contracting company told me he received the email about firing his guy's the morning of the termination. It also stated do not start making calls after 5:30. He also told me in his 2 and half years of being the boss there hes only fired 3 guys. He just had to fire 15 in one day.
