For those let go this week, were you told to make sure you come into work?

No I was not. Me and my peers were let go on late Tuesday afternoon
We were told by our boss last Thursday to be in the office all this week. Then the ones that were in the office noticed that there were a number of employees not in the office this week. Apparently, some people were told their jobs were safe and to work elsewhere during the carnage.
As for me, my week ended mid-morning on Tuesday.
No. I was let go on Tuesday.
I know of two emplyees who were working from home when they got meeting invite and was asked to come to office and they knew what it was.
