Heard someone at cca appealed and got job back. Reason for poor performance was due to death in fam.

They never gave a reason. Poor performance may be the reason but no reason is specified in laying off. There are do many posts stating high performers were laid off.

Heard that there is no appealling. And the reasons were not ONLY low performance.
There is no f’ing way that is possible.
