From my understanding claims domain applications are next. There is a heavy ramp up of OGS in the claims domain. We are training our replacements.

Any news as of this week with all the leader town hall meetings, etc? Our entire LOB and others are being managed now by OGS as “delivery leads”.
Only a matter of time for those who report to these delivery leads? People who report to onshore leaders seem safe I assume.
I left the organization and was in training and development. Absolutely OGS is on the rise and they are eliminating jobs and that department is training your replacements. It is always hush hush and they are told in training not to say anything but it is true. The curriculum has been developed and the trainers over their trained and ready to go for the transition as of Nov 2018.... They do not care about people just profits that is why you see so many fraud cases being filed as well for their abusive strategies to Medicare rules and regulations they have been in violation of for so long. The rug is being pulled.
I worked in the I.T. Division at a very high technical level for many years and can verify the off shore employees we had to train and support are a huge hinderence. They talk over you instead of listening and are extremely slow to learn. It is much easier to perform the work of two people than to be forced to drag an off shore employee through the process which they dont learn by anyway.
Do the claims domain applications fall under Optum Tech or Optum Operations?
Based on what I've seen and heard, anything that can be offshored or outsourced will be over the next 18 - 24 months. Why pay for one person in the USA when you can get 2 or 3 or more for your money elsewhere? It won't last, it rarely works, and it's only a matter of how many USA employee lives get destroyed before that light bulb goes on over some dimwit bureaucrat's head.
I’ve heard that telecommuters and smaller offices (<500) are targeted first. Does this mean than non-growth and satellite sites are in danger of closing down??
