Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Distribution centers starting to fail .

The Linden Distribution center GM resigned yesterday after not meeting first year budget. According to the Market Manager he said that they don’t have payroll for a GM at that location and it need to run with two of his hand pick assistants. The Linden Distribution center is starting to shrink out due to hiring the same team that caused the failure of the facility when it was a Sams club. An underperforming associate was made the overnight manager through desperation for talent. If they keep the same Market managers and Same associates in these converted Sam’s to Distro you will have the same failure . It’s like changing the name of a loosing team and expecting them to win.

I know people working there. They are understaffed, ill equipped and overwhelmed by the never ending demands for pallets of merchandise from the African exporters.

Man.. I'm sorry. Sam's is going down all over. And I know they won't bother to fix it.
