Think that non-store employees that work within the supply chain will be targeted first. Stores closed and more will close. The supply chain doesn’t fit the smaller footprint anymore. Also, for the time being, I think they will tend to keep as much store workers as they can, so they don’t look bad with all the job keeping retorque.

Which RRC's are closing? Since many of the midwest stores have closed, assume Wilkes Barre and Delano are OK, maybe Manteno also ok....
I believe you may be late to the party, OP. 4 RRCs and several other DCs were announced for closing weeks ago.
Just like the rest of Sears it has been laying off and closing locations for years. No one gives a s,,,t anymore.
Which supply chain do you mean? The ones with the buildings that are in such bad shape that when it rains the products get soaked, doors won't work, and the docks are unusable because of the crumbling concrete. Maybe you are referring to the one that is run by the people who have no idea what they are doing and act like they are still the "big dogs" and don't understand how the business works?
The supply chain has 3rd party customers and has been waiting for the sale to expand.
The supply chain is doing fine, just a little slow work will pick up starting Monday the 12'th.
