Based on the earnings, are we finally getting the bonuses we deserve?

There has been no revision to 2018 quarter 4 earnings. The latest disappointing news is regarding guidance for 2019.
Bonus is anchored against 2018 so it isn't impacted
Will we even get bonuses now because of the revised earnings report?
Bonuses are "not deserved" unless you are an C-level executive with a contract. Then you will get a huge payout even if the company posts terrible numbers, and even if you are fired.
No bragging here toxic scum. That’s real.
Going though life all bitter is a sad state.
As for “ Onward”, that’s a joke. The fact RD uses that is a joke. Lighten up and move on hater. I’ll pray for you. That was a joke too. 😂
I’m not getting the “finally deserved” comment. Bonuses aren’t deserved just because you worked hard. They are based on company performance. The company has had poor performance for the past few years and so it makes sense if none paid.
Bragging about how Mattel has treated you VERY well? Nothing to be proud of buddy. And using ONWARD? Either you're RD or one of his mo--nic disciples. You know that "motivational" quote was just stolen from Howard Shultz right? Not a shred of intelligence or originality. Just like Mattel.
Toxic Scum? Do you think maybe the toxic scum has been sprinkled all over your sour grapes.
Sorry for being employed and wanting to provide for my family. We've all lost fellow workmates and
friends. Still need to pay the bills. Sorry Bro, can't hate on Mattel. This company has treated me VERY well for many years. Wish the best for all those no longer with the company.
Onward
Glad you are all rubbing your hands about getting a bonus. When hundreds have been laid off. Toxic scum.
Bonus in full means the board approved payout to the full target amount
The target amount differs from level to another
Employees should be able to look up their target amount on the internal website, or by asking their managers
My target bonus has been 7%. That's probably low compared to others here but would make a real difference for my bottom line. In reality, I've seen .5-.7% bonuses the last three years. Yes, that's a half a percent for exceeding expectations. Anyone else experience this? Meanwhile my friends at Goog and FB regularly take home 20-30k bonuses per year. They're not executives.
What does a “bonus in full” mean?
bwahahahahaha! The numbers were fixed! Yawn and his crew are setting up the company for a sell off by trying to make it look profitable. Don’t be s---ers. another lay-off is coming to reduce expenditures and make the company seem EVEN MORE. profitable. Just wait.
The board voted for a nice bonus to retain the workforce even though plan target was set quite low. Be grateful for the victories. However they come.
Bonus is based on meeting annual plan target, not external analysts expectations.
Typically, the two are related, but not exactly the same
Haha. Good try! Execs and management will get full bonus. Enough for staff to buy a Tesla Model 3. Tuppence for the rest.
Bonuses should finally be given in full this year. After all, the numbers were met and exceeded; isn't that the criteria? Does anyone with real finance knowledge want to comment?
4 cents a share. HA. Good luck getting your pennies this year.
I know I'm getting the bonus I deserve this year. But then again, I left Mattel years ago.
