Wonder if HR and Legal targetted one of the Spouse for layoff if both are employed at GM ? Any thoughts? Observations??

I know a couple where one was a contractor that was cut back in dec and now the husband cut cut this past week as a direct.
With a 2 year old.
At least they lived within their means but they are beyond livid now. But they are thinking about this as a press restart on things.
My wife and I work for GM . We got saved this time. For those who lost their jobs , stay strong and we wish everything works out good for you guys

Yes, I witnessed this throughout the week. Two spouses working for GM, then one of them got ax'ed.
