Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

We better get more robots soon because we’re losing associates

My opinion is Sams is going to dump a pile of $$ in the clubs this year in a last ditch effort to gain more customers but it won’t work for the long haul. We have lost our way a long time ago and our customers want more than a remodel, they want their old club back,smiles,customer service,etc. We better get more robots soon because we’re losing associates.Full circle indeed.

Think that @XwOZUnS-oin is right. It will take much more then a club remodel to convince the customers to come back

I work at Sam's. A few months ago they got rid of all but one shipping and receiving position. This week they told our HR. Manager they were eliminating his position and dept. In our Sam's club.

Is this a good sign they are to close our store soon.
