200 person RIF across the company coming in the next month. It’s being prepared right now. Sales will be hit hardest, but it’s cust across all departments.

Is it over?
Leave it to the British to screw up Riverbed! I don't get why Americans think British people "know more" - just take a look at the BREXIT Sh-- fiasco they put themselves .. Riverbed and TB needs to know a British accent does not increase intelligence .. I guess one can argue the America is dumb for "thinking" Brits are smart.
Paul Mountford can s--- one forever
I wonder if that's it (ISR's only) or just part of it?
Enterprise Team covers the entire portfolio
Which product does Enterprise ISR team belong to ?
The entire Enterprise ISR Team (Remote and SF Office) were let go today as of 9:30am. Thier last day will be this Friday, 22nd.
I hear its already started. One in EMEA already gone from what I heard and looks like Americas has 'meetings' today for some.
Well, if folks here are correct we should be hearing something this week!
don't worry your trophy will be - "you next" :)
project "Refresh", lol.
The company should give everyone whos not laid off a trophy.
Hold onto your seats, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Morale will plummet.
The HR team is heads down focused on getting this RIF done, called project Refresh. It takes place next week. If only they were also cutting come exec team dead weight. Instead, the same old, old school leaders, will still attempt to lead the titanic.
The reality is that every company (big and small) probably needs to RIF or remove dead or duplicated weight. As one poster mentioned, you have to have your head up your stinky sphincter to not see this coming because of clueless upper management. By clueless I mean leaders that have no clue what to do so they hire in or promote people they can control/manipulate - its very much related to self-preservation and we all know every company has people like this. The one thing I do hope for is that IF a RIF is coming, its targeting the delinquents and, the sad part is, the delinquents know exactly who they are.
how reliable is this info ? Or is this another post from dumb fu***er who wanted to walkout of HQ.
Anyone who thinks that this RIF is a surprise must have their head up their essential orifice. If you've been in the IT industry for more than a few years you recognize the familiar scent of death when a company starts outsourcing.
"Perchance he for whom this bell tolls may be so ill, as that he knows not it tolls for him; and perchance I may think myself so much better than I am, as that they who are about me, and see my state, may have caused it to toll for me, and I know not that." -
There is so much attrition and available vacancies in sales. Let people go and now what? As it is,it's threadbare with difficulties showering customers with needed attention. And now this.
way too many SVPs, VPs and Directors still
Hope they take a second look at the management layer this time. Need fresh blood.
don’t pin your hopes on riverbed’s implementation of SDWAN.
That’s like $50m saved per year in costs in salary, travel, office space. Hope SDWAN and SCentral can bring it back to growth.
