My team was told that those on My Work must give it up and go to one of 6 designated hubs which are on the east or west coast. Rationale provided was to bring those locations up to capacity. No staffing plans, no thought process regarding impacted lives, families, etc. When concerns where expressed regarding attrition there was apathy. So it is relocate with your family or loose your job. This company stinks. Wondering how the media would like to hear about this.

What are the 6 hubs?
Unless I was younger and desperately needed the job \ benefits, I would never take a relo package with this company. This company is not worth the aggravation, and they would never make it worth the effort. And it’s true, there would be no guarantees that you would not be impacted by cuts later on. I was asked at the end of last year if I would consider a relo in order to work on an extended project and I declined. It was the most ridiculous ask I ever had and I was happy to relay that. The hiring manager was embarrassed. I basically said that if my skill set was not a hiring factor then what is the point. In other words, you want me to uproot my family, home etc.. to work on your project for 2 years and then I am stuck in a place I never wanted to be. (Charlotte). Go blow! All kinds of monkeys can be found in Charlotte. As for me, I am staying put until I am let go. I am ready for that and am hopeful I can be impacted sooner rather than later. I already have outside opportunities if I want them.
And once you relocate you still will find yourself laid off at a later date.
