Railroads (and most all other companies) will fire and hire all the time. They can’t just fire people and leave it at that. Not even Lance is that stupid. There’s always someone out there that will take a job.

Really? Im hearing CN is going to be hiring again after 1q ends....
I think this is more to prevent more employees from leaving UP for those companies just my 2 cents.... quite a few good workers left for them in addition to guys let get go. UP is panicked theyll lose more the way things are going.
Workload is down....why would you keep employees? Duh
