WIN will come down in history as the only company that rewarded the leadership that drove its company into bankruptcy. In any company that reaches bankruptcy the general practice is to name some sort of expert leadership, to guide the company through bk proceedings.I realy can’t understand the shareholders. Using the same methods and expecting a different outcome is next to insanity.

The creditors will let the leadership stay as long as they seem to have credibility.
If the creditors and judge can avoid it, they don't want to run the company themselves and they don't want to go find new leadership and impose further tumult.
This is not to say they might not have private concerns -- just that they will try to work through the current team if they can. They may give them heavy guidance and stiff questioning behind closed doors. They may even demand some heads roll but likely not before the end of the bankruptcy.
Trying to rationalize Windstream decisions will cause frustration.
They don’t want you to understand.
