Depends on if you were really rude to the member. We all know members exaggerate in order to get management on their side.

Yes why should one bad apple keep us from our Sam’s share quarterly If you don’t like dealing with members get the f--- out. My 👀 are going to be on everyone, poor member service your out.

If they demoted or fired anyone who had a verbal complaint against them, the store would have zero employees - even the management. It needs to be a pretty bad complaint or situation for something to happen.

Depends. How often do you get them? What was the issue? How did you handle yourself? How did you treat the member? If any of those questions were done poorly then it is possible. If you receive the same complaint from more than one member on more than one day it shows that there is an issue that needs addressed with the associate.

Those complaints reflect on the club as a whole not just one individual. Member complaints + poor mxvoices = lower rankings, lower rankings effects the Sam's share that club could receive.

So in a nutshell depending on the severity of the complaint it could lead to removal from membership desk all the way to termination.
