Judging by the recent accounting job postings it looks like a few people jumped ship after the bonus payout. It's not surprising given the toxic inept leadership in that area.

Looks Like Alpos pit bull has been hard at work again posting her own comments or barking orders to others. She could spend some of those calories learning to treat people with respect

The accounting group at Cenovus is the worst group to work in. Everyone knows that. Look at the leadership in that group.
The comptrollers group has been a mess since 2015 with the constant reorgs. The turn overs usually happen under one specific director . How that leader is still around reflects the poor choices mgmt make ....over and over again.
Almost all of them are contract. Cenovus laid off some employees from accounting but also the processes are poorly managed so people with some high skills are required to accomplish those tasks. Look who is managing and you will see why this is happenning
