Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

STI updates anyone?

Seeing posts with estimates ranging from 50% to 95%. Has anyone actually received a firm number from their manager yet?

Allocation for STI is 95%... the reduced rates is to take from the non favored teams/individuals and give to the favored ones... and of course Sr. management... BD, Zafino, Repko.. ect

It's always been that way that extra goes to favorites and there are favorites no matter how good of a Manager you have

Surprised nothing here yet because the #s have been fully finalized and communicated to many managers

STI for IT infrastructure was 95% with 2% hold back. The hold back is for management to distribute to their favorites.

I’m sure the company expects and knows this will happen. Cheaper than laying ppl off. But they always underestimate the ancillary impacts change has.
