I’m in the Midwest and overheard a conversation between my SM and his OPs, they were making a comment that he would take care of her and someone else would be let go. She sounded upset. Who says all desks are made in the golf course, they made one at Bed Bath and Beyond. Must be nice
Don’t think BBB is worried about lawsuits, they consider it a bunch of big talk! Get lawyers now to let know you mean business. Stand up send notifications to local news, you can let them know in a round about way! Remember all current and previous dept mgrs and ASM’s should stick together, if need be bring down the castle!
If they do they should expect more lawsuits and much more. The department of labor has already been contacted. The media is the next step to uncover all of their employment “practices “. They think they have covered all of their bases, we have a surprise for them. Go ahead and eliminate the asm positions.
I would hesitate to count on a severance package because bbb will put some hourly ASM’s on pip so they can let go without paying them. This is the position of bbb since they have had so many lawsuits filed against them, this is their way out, screw the people.

Two fold answer, trust no one and I mean no one, only trust yourself!! Yes layoffs are coming for the new hourly ASM’s, remember how they did the dept mgrs, it will be the same. Every time you see an HR person just know they are looking at you knowing they are going to be part of the meeting to let you go. Not all HR are bad, my friend is sharing info because he feels bad and will continue to be under the radar. Who knows he may end up in court on our side!!
They made all of the asms hourly now. The next step will be when they tell them they are above the pay scale for that position and let them go. Again trust no one. And the bs people post here.
And you expect an answer you can trust? I always go back to the now infamous private equity buyer that was supposedly going to buy BBBY. Be careful with your questions, trust no one... no matter how much they claim their secret source is above reproach.
