I know it’s illegal to co cut a worker while he is on sick leave, but as I watch these SAP layoffs from my bed i can’t help but to wonder will I be called into the conference room the first they that I’m back to work, and on top of all my problems that makes me even more stressed out. Hered that some folks at my location got cut. Can they do that, or do they have to wait a certain period of time after my sick leave is over to fire me?
Yes you can...if it’s a mass lay-off, is they can do what they want. Being sick or on FMLA does not protect you. SAP will and has done this...so don’t expect any special treatment
