I guess it’s very fortunate there wasn’t someone in that area have a medical emergency or some other type of emergency in that community.

I watched the video just now. What a bunch of jack asses. Some pinhead from Omaha actually released a statement saying the community was feeling the impacts of the unified 2020 plan as they fine tune in. B--ch are you so far in your own world and removed from reality you think for one second the community at large gives a flying f about unified 2020. They just slept in our cars for 7 years. Surprised nobody closed every angle c--- and tied every hand hand brake. Stupidity like this puts crews at risk for retaliation when they get on their trains.

How about a feel good story how they closed a railyard in California and turned it into a homeless camp? Only thing is, UP can't afford to buy very many tents for them so they'll have to really pack em in tight to the tents they do provide. UP Managers will love this because these folks are easy pickens for many FTX write-ups. Not maintaining three point contact while shooootin up. Not using PPE during random siex acts....etc.

Maybe if they close a few more yards and lay off a few hundred personnel that should solve the problem. Now pressure will increase for employees that’s left to take short cuts.

Lance said up transported the cars for them at one point so they should be thankful because otherwise they’d be homeless that night and sleeping on ground. Can we expect a story on the UP homepage about how UP saved a community from homelessness?

UP called to see if any of the people stuck in their cars owned at least half a million shares of stock. When told no, Lance said to ignore the issue until a large shareholder complains.
