Try to stay positive

Union Pacific got me out of a serious jam back in the day, i was flat broke and struggling with financial and personal issues. If it wasnt for the job i have now i cant even imagine where i would be.

The work is easy, pay is what you make it and i make it real good for myself with lots and lots of overtime. I also go to work to have fun and talk sh-- with my coworkers and everyday theres alot of laughing. I ignore the managers and you cant take anyone of them serious, they werent hired for there brains i can tell you that but there just doing there job the best way they can.

Take it for what its worth, but the place isnt that bad, psr, 2020 ,g55 whatever who really cares, im sorry for the people that lost there jobs but i have a feeling there gonna need them back sooner than later.

Stay positive, and keep providing for your families and just have fun.

Dude. You got yourself out of that jam. It's time you give yourself credit for that....they don't deserve the credit. You owe them nothing. So...pat yourself on the back and realize who the hero really was all those years ago. YOU did it.

And when you are being walked out, just stay positive. You owe them since they helped you back in the day. That’s your opinion and I have mine. Can’t wait to leave this shi@hole, just a matter if time and NO I won’t be coming back. UP has lost my trust because they chose greed over people.

In every situation, there will always be people who will make the best of it, and people who will whine like babies.

I agree.....ignore the noise (management etc....) let them scream and yell ( one ear out the other)..and just do the best you can in your 8hrs and clock out and go home. If they furlough you then so be it, nothing any of us could do about it so why stress about it?

So in otherwords...stick your head in the sand and pretend all this chaos and mass curruption isn't really happening as it doesn't affect my personal situation much...only other people. That's certainly one way to deal with the sham that's being orchestrated around us. I'd rather speak up and fight to bring light to the heinous crimes that are being commited by these Evil evil people. Sorry, this is really really grating on me personally.
