It is worse now. In 2008 the pressures were bad because the market was down so much. Now the market hasn’t gone down yet so you know that the worst case has yet to come.

In 2008 it was a family oriented environment, where people joined "for life" if they were good. The atmosphere was professional, the focus was to be "global" and the CoC was the ultimate yardstick by which employees were measured. Now, well, it's the inverse.
