I’m sure that the scheduling system was implemented on purpose to eliminate the ones that neither can or want to be working their asses of for the company 24/7. They were counting on attrition. As for the ones that are going to say, I can’t see them achieving any sort of work-life balance

Worst place ever
Sam’s is as bad as you make it. Do your job and don’t complain and everything will fall into place.
I don't know about you but i will enjoy my work more if I don't have to cover for someone calling in all the time, thanks H.O.
Ok @uuf we get it. This will be great for those that always call in. We Know!!!
But for others this is going to blow chunks! Like the person below said, this place is becoming a waste of life. I'm not sure anymore of what they're trying to accomplish. It's like they do absolutely nothing for the associate anymore. You have to take care if the associates in order to have a good business. That's just the way it is. The new HO fools are clueless on how to run a big company.
Bye Bye entitled associates who can't be bothered to show up for work. No one wants you there and will be happy to see you leave.
They can keep their severance. This company is a waste of life.
Absolutely. Block scheduling and cross training - all this does is allow Sam's to do with less employees. And God help you if you are legit sick or someone dies on or around a holiday.
Exactly what I've been saying. Family and friends do not matter.... Sam's club is the only priority. I only have one thing to say.... see ya.
