The stock is going up day by day, any idea why?

The reason stock will go up or is going up is because of the lay offs. Oracle is not making money just repeating the same old "do more with less" so management can pay themselves higher salaries to run the company into the ground. My team has been steadily cut with more work being put on us for years now.
Overall market (e.g. S&P 500) is going up. That's really the only reason.
Safra is getting ready to sell some stock....
I don't think they have suddenly stopped the stock buybacks. Stock going up means nothing.

People are taking the ask price instead of the bid price.
