Since Tuesday is usually the most usual layoff day in addition to Thursday - don't ask me why I read it somewhere and I can't remember now - are we going to see the continuation of cuts at Ford today?
I wish we could get at least one week to relax and recharge our mental and emotional batteries - but I'm afraid that's not likely.

In department meeting today we were told our layoffs would be cascaded week of April 8th and compete by end of April.
Swell, another month of stress. Little is getting done despite all the rallying of the troops by leadership. The spreadsheet geek in the department calculated that 6.4 million dollars in wasted resources (human time and ball dropping) has been lost in our department alone in the 1st quarter. Hard to get people to focus on work projects when the hatchet looms.
My guess would be yes.
