Correcting myself below. Turns out Twitter only uses Google for big data and analytics, the site itself actually runs on their own kit. But Spotify and ebay are on Google.
Actually Twitter is on Google Cloud, along with Spotify and ebay. But your point is still valid.
AWS runs twitter, Netflix and thousands of such services..All these services are highly scalable and have very high load.
Oracle cloud is not even 1% of this. It's a shame that people are so dumb to think otherwise.

Oracle Cloud is the premier high-end Enterprise solution. That's why Oracle earns all the cloud dollars whereas AWS is for commodity web.

Oracle is known for database so only those that work with database are safe. The rest should update your resume even cloud people
If both Google/TK and Oracle/LE could EXECUTE WELL on their visions (TK's and LE's) we would see whose vision was better in terms of viability and market success.
But execution is doubtful. Google has smart people maybe they can overcome TK flaws? LE's would be very viable for a focused Oracle but company so dysfunctional due to decades of cronyism I have little hope
Of the major Cloud providers, Google arguably has the best infrastructure as it is based on what Google had to invent for multiple services that each support millions or billions of users. Even AWS and Microsoft have shortcomings but comparison. Oracle isn't even in the same league as any of these competitors.
However, Google now has TK and HD. Both are experts in achieving little, blaming others and creating a toxic work environment. While Oracle is seriously lagging in the Cloud race, it looks like Google is the one that is now really screwed.
