I think you're over reading into it. So there's been a few more cn engines... at my yard we've had more of em too along with more cp, csx, ns, kcs, bnsf, ferromex, soo line, and a oddball mch passenger engine hitching a ride back east.... if they run we throw a up on the lead and get the cars gone. Thats psr for you.

Union Pacific has named Gerry Weber vice president-Mechanical and promoted Erin Batt to assistant vice president-Safety and chief safety officer (CSO), effective April 10.

Weber succeeds John Estes, who announced that he will retire July 4 after 30 years with UP. Weber joins UP from Transdev, North America’s largest private multimodal operator, where he served as president and chief operating officer since October 2017. Prior to that, Weber worked 27 years at Canadian National Railway, including roles as vice president-fleet and fuel management, chief mechanical officer and superintendent, among others. Weber will report to Tom Lischer, executive vice president-Operations.

Batt most recently served as senior director-Operations Support at the Harriman Dispatching Center. She joined UP in 2006 as an apprentice train dispatcher and has held positions of increasing responsibilities. Batt will report to Lischer.
