Thread regarding Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) layoffs

Waiting is the worst

Am I the only one who finds this whole waiting game much worse than actually learning I was being laid off? At least then I'd know what to do next. I'd be doing something. Right now I'm just waiting.

Letting us suffer through this instead of just coming out and saying what's going on seems mighty cruel on Dun & Bradstreet's part.

Stay until they let you go, especially if you have many years there. Maks them pay you severance and benefits for a few weeks. Probably will change the package for 2020. Hold on.

Good or bad, the wait is almost over.

Why wait. The hammer is going to fall. We all know it. It’s not like we make a k--ling at this place. Start looking. Soon this company will be sold to some Indians. And then game over.

That’s what they want, they want you to leave on your own so you get nothing! F--- that... I’ll stick around until something opens up.

Cannot you get something else to do or just leave?

Hey at least they are getting a billboard to let you know they don't give a sh-- about you, only their image. Good to see they are investing in their employees.

Communicate to somebody in charge, or somebody in charge who gives a s—t how you feel? Because the latter doesn’t exist. At this point, your only option is to take as much of their money as you can before you go. Every day you work is another day they have to pay you.

Yes! I feel the same way. I hate waking up everyday and thinking "is today the day"

How can we communicate our frustrations to someone in charge?????

Take the dress off and stop whining. That’s how business works. This isn’t IBM in the 60s. They don’t give a sh-- about u. DnB was bought by investors to break it up. Sell the peices and move on. DnB isn’t special anymore.
