How much more can AiG afoard to cut regular employees while not touching any tier of management? That seems to me that they are cutting the very foundations of the company making it vulnerable. Are they even aware of that simple fact when they decide to thin the headcount more and more?

They keep hiring Senior Management while the RIF's of employees go on. I'm surprised that the shareholders don't see what's going on. I just can't believe the amount of Senior Management and Management in general that we have at this company. They push the employees to the limit and delegate all kinds of work and responsibilities to them. Very little communication from Senior Management and Managers. Once they are hired, very little is heard from them. You wonder what exactly are they doing? Not communicating with the workers for sure!
I agree, especially when you consider all the C level executives. There are so many of them and AIG’s answer is to cut programmers, underwriters, adjusters and accountants? Benmoshe cut out so many layers of cost and expanded spans of responsibility, but subsequent “leaders” put it all back.
When I worked there from 2006-2014 (got laid off 😀😀😀) the department I was in had, if I remember correct about 10 managerial level (supervisors, managers, VP’s, directors) for around 60 people. Talk about overkill. All of which were clueless and didn’t give a darn about anything other than keeping their paycheck.

my team has 3 management positions. This is laughable because none of the manager know what we do. They can get rid of all three and we would be fine.
The base level workers are all in India... soon low lev management will be there too.. All Indian Gang “AIG”
