What's one thing you want to do when you sell a business. Cut your cost and make it look atteactive to the buyers. That is all they are doing. I wouldn't be surprised if the parks go up for sale.

I’m putting my two week notice in today. I’ve had enough. Our department is severely short staffed. Our leader or whatever you want to call her, is so tired of people leaving. Really??? Open your eyes.

SWO - My honest opinion is that they're gearing up for a sale of some sort. The park is NOT going under so to speak.. there is too much going on and already budgeted for, for that to be the case (new coaster breaking ground this month and more expansions pending official announcements).

I will say that every aspect of the park is under extreme scrutiny as far as efficiency or the employees and the budgets and how they're used. So much so that it is almost uncomfortable for an employee to be at work. Not allowed to take breaks in their work areas or ride in company vehicles on property with more than one person unless necessary because of "perception". It is getting a little crazy and most of the people just want it to stop.

Almost a record number of people are putting in 2 week notices over the past couple months, to the point that almost every department in the park is severely under staffed. That isn't a huge deal over all until you start thinking about the amount of safety sensitive jobs that have been vacated to gain employment at other parks because they are sick of getting no raises being extremely over worked and stressed. They don't even need to lay people off.. they're going on their own.

Makes you wonder why Reilly officially left. He was offer 500,000 if he stayed 3 years as a bonus and still left.
