Thread regarding Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) layoffs

At least S&MS is safe

All the outcasts from Alliances that had it good for a few years got moved into decent roles with S&MS product. Some even got promotions! Seems like that’s the one LOB that will be ok.

Still heard from the PE circle that the eventual goal is reduction of costs by $300m. I think more of Content, Analytics and Tech will move to Jacksonville as the folks at Black Knight will have overlap in those categories.

More promotions in S&MS! PE guys really seem to like that group.

No one is safe. It's wishful thinking. Management is working its way down the salary chain. Org charts are fluid; you think the CTO will keep all those direct reports he recently announced? Agree that Jacksonville (or outsourcing) is in the works, but anybody is fair game, not just analytics, content, and tech.

Nothing is safe. Security is only temporary to keep the business operational for now. It’s a false sense of security at best.

Agreed. There are a lot of people that really aren't marketable as they have not updated skills outside of d&b. Yes Content has been reduced to what they can minimally get by with until it is totally outsourced.
