What does everybody think about these new initiatives that focus on younger readers (like Young Adult Book Club?) For once, I think this was a good idea, if nothing else a better one than so many so far that fell flat.
I guess time will tell, but I'm optimistic for once.
Every summer they focus on young readers. Earning a free book if they read so many. All the adults know how horrible Barnes & Noble is now.Bad Cust svc, no bags. Appealing to their children is not going to get them back in the store.
Little kids are pretty much the only thing to focus on. Adults aren't reading like they used to and if they do, they shop Amazon. I suppose Moms still bring their kids out. The nannies here just hang out and use the store as a park and bathroom.
