How often do people see their retail directors in their stores? Our director has been in our store once and she has been in her role approximately 18 months. I know that we have a DM that visits once a week, but it would be nice to see higher leadership. Now that we have a territory that’s is hundreds of miles apart, she will never show up. It would be nice to showcase our store and talent and not be put on the back burner..

Visiting stores eh? Sounds like someone is looking to complain and throw their people under the bus while making the case for their next promotion.
That's because they don't hire doers. They don't enjoy people. They want to rub shoulders with big shots. They are good at PowerPoint and talking about numbers. But, are not interested in you.
Who the hell wants to see them is more like it. All the managers stressed out and DMs making them stressed and then they stress us out.
Used to be all the time back when stores mattered. Now that they are worthless and on the chopping block, we almost never see our worthless RD.
