Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

When will this end?

These small layoffs are nerve-wrecking. At least when it's a major round, we know it's coming and we know it'll end in a day or two. This has no beginning and it has no end - just a never ending source of stress and anxiety.

This is not good for our health nor for productivity. It really needs to end as soon as possible.

Cindy Warner (VP) down was impacted throughout PS. I disbanded at the right time I’ll do my best to compete against NetApp for the remainder of my life. The company should be sued for the way they treat people. Get our while you may. Ball is truly in your court. God speed!

It will never end, company’s future is limited and when the tech refresh for flash ends, the big shoes will drop and then it’s sell off the company to anyone who will put in an offer. Go look at insider selling if you want to see the vote of no confidence that the leadership team has in NetApp’s long term prospects

Seems Bob Wood’s wrath will continue as more sales DM’s fall. Such a prick. He needs to go.

Cuts (or transformations) will continue sadly. We don't get emails or notifications anymore like we used to - not sure why?? Anyhow, from what I'm hearing, personnel impacted were high level positions ranging from VP, Sales Mgr, Director, Consulting, etc. positions. Sad event.

It won't end. Kurious george's knife will always be ready to slash a few more heads. Cuts are not unique to netapp, of course, but good companies don't keep the threat looming over their employees like this place does. And don't start with the 'just do a good job and you needn't worry' BS. Who needs that kind of stress?
