Years ago, I applied and was offered a position for OVERNIGHT merchandiser, this company is eliminating that position, therefore I should be offered a severance, which I was. Yes, I have been given the opportunity to accept a NEW position called merchandiser, which I am unable to work the required hours. All other position within this company were not called opening/closing. Full time associated had to have open availability, open to close. Part timers filled in where ever needed. Nothing is changing with your position except now you will work a fixed schedule. Overnight associates are losing their jobs!!!!!

No more worrying about how fast we dispense orders. What can they do demote me to carts?
From my understanding we go in at 4 a.m. and we pull orders along with the floor people after we open we will dispense orders and help do carry outs put away groceries that members did not want or returned merch and push carts lol its funny that they're thinking they're going to push us out by all this craziness I say bring it on! I do feel sick to my stomach on the people that are having to leave because of this scheduling. family comes first I get it but a lot of people don't have the family structure helping them if it were me years ago I'd have to leave too and wonder how I'm going to feed my family. Yes you might say get another job for some it's not that easy
Club pick up is losing their jobs and going to carts but no severance is being offered
