Option 3

Are there any option 3 employees? (20-30 hours) I was option 3 for 7 years but upon returning from maternity leave 6 months ago I am suddenly scheduled between 28 -37 hours. Management is saying I'm not working my minimum, they also said option 3 isnt a thing anymore. I have 1 co worker that I'm aware of who has this option. This is also an option listed on insite.

@YSnatwy-nsn, nope you are reading that wrong. Option 3 is a 20-30. Option 1 is 35-40.

I don’t know anyone who is 20-30 because you don’t get enough hours guaranteed to get medical benefits.

That option exists at my location but I’m guessing it depends upon the state and if it’s a union store. And as a colleague, you should utilize askhr and question it yourself & get accurate information . That’s what it’s there for.

They can change it if they want too. I work with a guy who works full time but he can only work evenings. So every week they go in and change his schedule and then because of him the rest of us get our schedules changed too. He also gets to say the days he wants to work.

According to the EMAG guide under option three should average between 35 and 40 hours a week. I also have another option which is no longer listed that I couldnt transfer to another with that option because it is no longer available.
