Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Big Acquisition?!?!?!?!

Anyone hear of a recent big acquisition ADP made but is being secretive about? I haven't seen it in announcements to associates or in recent town hall meeting but friends outside ADP ask about it?

How do they know and we dont?

There was some talk of the acquisition in the investors webcast but they didn't reveal the client name.

The most recent acquisition by ADP that made it to the news boards was Celergo in August of 2018. Keep in mind that ADP is notorious for not disseminating information to the associates. Upper management has been making decisions for decades that affect their workforce without having the proper controls in place. For two decades, I watched decisions that were forced into the day-to-day operations with customers without forethought or insight. More than 50% of the time, these decisions created more work, more headaches, and more cost to the company overall. ADP wants to look good for shareholders no matter the cost to employees and clients. It has been proven that they are more willing to lose long-term, loyal clients to their competitors rather than keeping the people and products that actually work. The bottom line is that ADP is acquiring companies frequently and it should not be a surprise that you are the last to know.
