So why can a fresh associate (bakery dept) have every Sunday off even though that is considered a busy day but a freeze cooler/deli associate are told they had to be here EVERY Friday, Saturday and Sunday. How fair is that?

It’s busy memberwise but the bulk of the weekend cake orders are done Friday and Saturday. Sunday is the end of the orders week. I don’t see any reason to have all the decorators there on a Sunday.
Why were almost all told that Saturday was out of the question but a fresh associate got Saturday? If it goes through.
And what I hear is that the days and shift picked are not set it stone yet.
