Word got out of the 3/3/19 layoff date so the id--ts at corp changed the date. Next Friday is the date where all district support are getting laid off.
I feel for the employees at Bed Bath, because the executives are id--ts and only care for themselves. The raises and stock continue to flow at the corp office, but have slowed to a trickle in the field.
Fire the entire executive leadership team.
District and Regional are about to feel the heat, maybe with their new position that means nothing or being unemployed. Can’t live on your stocks, what a joke. The regionals need to boot the SM and take over the helm and show us how it’s done, regional couldn’t lead a pack of dogs. They are greedy and so I’d district, go get that SM position, welcome to your new nightmare.
Totally agree with the last reply about the lack of logic, this scenario isn't making sense one iota. I know one thing for sure, the highly experienced and knowledgeable store level associates -- what we call the pyramid of knowledge -- are the backbone of sales, not management brought in who have not been on the front lines, so to speak, in who knows how long.
Could be more fake news as usual. Try being logical with this for a moment, how can district staff and regional staff be layed off, ASMs be layed off, then district staff comes in to fill the vacant ASM positions? This doesn't add up and the district staff is in no position, no pun intended, to come in and take on this responsibility if they are covering multiple stores.
So is district being laid off or ASMs? One post says ops managers others say high salary this is district but then people say district are in the stores. North East region here.
Doesnt seem realistic for all of the District positions company wide to be eliminated. This seems like fake news.
That is how they will get rid of the asm’s . The district staff will take their jobs.
We have no District staff in our District. They all got put in stores.
So who’s going to do the district jobs and b--ch about registries, beyond + and TBS numbers?
