The worst case scenario recently took place with the cowardly closing of the DCEH schools. But standing graduate students on the verge of of finishing their degree is especially despicable. Additionally, there is a long history of many of these students students not finding out until the end of dumping lots of time and money into a graduate degree that requires internships, preceptorships etc., that the slithery South University, the deceased Argosy, Ai and the long ossified Brown Mackie wouldn't or couldn't provide because ultimately they were always all about, first and foremost, the transaction .
So what can be said to vilify these aspirants that hasn't been already said. That "they should have done their "due diligence," that they were not "college material" or the classic, insult to injury, sorry just "move on." It's more than a shame that we as human beings can feed off the misfortune of others but then don't see or feel that pain unless it hits close to home. Well now it has.
Due diligence going forward, that's for sure. But somebody's got to pay other than those who already have.
