Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

GM doesn't want our country to thrive because it touches the executives wallet

We can produce everything here and export it. If we can build engines in the US then put them on a ship , we can build cars here and put them on a ship too. Imagine if we had more open plants in Michigan , Flint , Detroit all of the ones that GM closed , can you imagine how wealthy our state would be. If Ford can build autonomous in Flat Rock GM can build autonomous in DHAM or perhaps boost the economy up in a once thriving Flint. Aside from the line workers there are an awful lot of engineering teams that work in those plant right along side , truth is GM doesn't want our country to thrive becuse it touches the executives wallet. If I am wrong then prove it! Ford and Chrysler are making big efforts GM is not.

Hell yeah Jeep and Challenger all the way , should we talk about GM's high warranty spike in engines and transmissions ? Broken valve springs dropping valves into cylinders , bad wave plates and debri galore in valve body's ! Failed ignition switch , engine balancers falling off the Corvette engine , I can continue. It will get worse for GM especially after moving engineering around like gypsy's and firing all of the real talent. FCA, Ford and GM use and share the same transmissions and alot of them are designed by GM along with ZF and Tremec , You know nothing.

Go right ahead. After 36 months they will start having electrical and trans problems. See how you like them then. They need someone for their great Fiat 500.

I will buy FCA products , they have many to choose from , look good , smell good too. Most engineering teams I've worked with came from FCA and Ford then some go back after GM , it's like a circle tour. They are all very good share alot of the same suppliers as we all know. It's a shame GM shot themselves in the foot with brand loyalty , oh well the Chinese will buy GM now. Saw the dope Ruess in the new Corvette grinning , mean while lots of people fired 👍 winning with integrity !
