Is Apm generating decent revenue in OMC and how is it doing?
Have you heard of any layoffs in APM ?
I know ,It's very specific question. But some might have info on this

You don't really know how omc works so you. Apm definitely adds value to the organisations.
Ever heard of new relic, wavefront. You can either waste your time debugging where the delay is coming from, which call is taking more time. Or even do brute force way of finding the culprit call. But that does not dilute the feature set provided by Apm products.
Oracle Apm is a challenger. Nevertheless, each product needs to keep innovating and provide value for money.
The main disadvantage for oracle cloud is the isolation between various services. Rather than providing one shop for everything, there are several shops within oracle, selling services which are best sold at Samee point of sale to give customer ease of purchase and use.
Most OMC features can be had for free with the ELK stack, and some elbow grease. Get in isntance on AWSD/Azure/OCI and just deploy, just pay for the measly compute hours. There I just saved you the license cost as well the pain of dealing with oracle.
It seems to be a "low code" product targeted at developers. what an oxymoron... a product that lets developers write no code. I think OMC devs think that all developers are like themselves - incapable/uninterested in writing code so as to need these "low code" tools. what a joke.
OMC revenue is declining. The story of OMC doing well is misleading. It was the only 5x accelerator product previous hence the sales bundled a whole lot of that. There isn’t much use anywhere. How can OMC compete at the price point and feature. Don is building similar services into his OCI
