Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Company culture

Being fairly new to not only Mondelez, but also the work force, there are some very striking things about the culture at Mondelez! It seems management tries very hard to promote a “young, hip, laid back”

work environment! You spend one day here and see it is all show! After interviewing with a number of companies just out of college, Mondelez worked hard to portray a culture that other companies didn’t work as hard to promote. I think I now know why!

Just not a natural or realistic culture that occurs at Mondelez. They want it but it’s not there! Recent meetings they welcomed a relaxed dress, jeans were ok. Then they emailed us to tell us what kind of jeans we could wear? Obvious signs of micro managing! I cannot wait to get out! Someone just steered me to this site, wish I saw it before I started! GS...is indeed the king of bs!

I interned last summer for Mondelez! It was a total joke! I would never refer anyone to Mondelez. Nothing I was promised occurred. I was basically a full time merchandiser! I’ve told my buddies to stay clear of Mondelez at the career fairs! Most unprofessional organization! I can only imagine how bad things would be from there! The culture described in this post is so blatant! I can’t imagine anyone wanting to be a part of that!

Sorry you fell hook line and sinker for Mondelez tactics!! You're young, I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding other employment. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't offer you a position to stay. They want young and hip people. All of us old timers will be sent with their pink slips. Good luck and thanks for sharing
