Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Suspected my manager has been after me awhile

I actively monitor my linked in profile so I know that a BNY Mellon Compensation Analyst viewed my linked in profile this week. Today, I happen to notice when I go to book a meeting multiple attendees in outlook I can see availability for myself and everyone, but then on exactly May 1 only MY availability for that date doesn't show (it's empty even though I have meetings) - The rest of my schedule in May appears private to me as if trying to view someone else's calendar, not my own.

Perhaps a signal that my layoff is pending in the system.

Lucky? Unlucky? Nothing more than a computer glitch? Have we entered the twilight zone? Or is there something more sinister at play here and they are toying with our minds to see how much stress can be endured?

I’m sorry to hear this...

but it could be just conincidence or a computer/outlook glitch. Also people use LinkedIn to look at random people so it could just be that.

I’ll say try looking for other jobs, but in the meantime try not to stress out too much... be proactive but don’t let stress hurt you or hinder you.

You're asking if it is lucky or unlucky? It was like that Twilight Zone episode when William Shatner thought he saw some creature on the wing of a plane and everyone thought he was nuts and had a nervous breakdown but turns out there was something. Don't have a nervous breakdown. Get ready to enjoy your summer more than you ever have before.
