Rumors from LT are confirming that a buyer for Services signed a preliminary agreement.
GDC is not part of the agreement.

What a shame...
GDC will remain and included in Customer services. No project anymore but only package services. The GDC team remaining will be 800 in India.
GDC pak and Philippine will be closed.
Read the writing on the wall friend.. Get your redundancy pay and move on!!
So then whats the fate of GDCs if they are not being acquired..?
All the evidence and the company's actions point clearly to a buyout. No one really cared much for the gdc functions to be honest. Although some of the most brilliant and technologically skilled people have come from there. But they are easily replaceable. All services except managed services are under threat.
