Dell is playground for your children. They create roles such as consultants to reinvent but not really a process. Biggest example is Tell dell. Hiring a bunch of expensive project team to add flowers to the survey so it looks nice and with the same damn questions so you only get to answer my manager is grrrrreat every once a year.

Tell-Dell I also say it Tell-Bell. It is a biggest hypocrisy in Dell. There are managers who take the entire team to a meeting room and asks them to fill Tell-Dell in front of him with his inputs. Also, Dell use to give some rewards like Gold, Silver, Bronze etc. Rewards are just given before Tell-Dell comes out so that manger gets the favor. I am not saying every team does it but there are teams where it happens. By getting high approval rating someone is climbing the promotion chain without merit. That is Tell-Dell in brief for you.

Your thoughts are not original and this complaint is lame. You are complaining about corporate culture. Tons of big corporations do this same thing. If you are that miserable, figure out how to move on.
