Collectively negotiating severance?

This might be helpful, especially if you want resources on how to improve your severance by negotiating collectively https://medium.com/@TeamCoworker/so-youve-just-been-let-go-a354af7473c7

That would be called a class action lawsuit and would definitely put the 3 stooges on the spot - go for it !

These articles are BS and are written by clickbait-seeking bozo's. It's laughable that your ORCL severance package can be negotiated by any of us in the trenches. You're lucky to get a package in the first place. As the article mentions, legally all they have to do in most of the USA is to give you your final paycheck. They make it sound like you and your laid-off workgroup can refuse to sign the severance letter and instead show up together at some virtual bargaining table and ask for a better deal, when in fact you have nothing to bring to the table. You can't negotiate unless you have something that they want. Oracle's attorneys and their HR partners will stomp on you like a c---roach. When you wake up from that dream, take what they give you and run away.
