That comment makes zero sense. Dallas doesnt go belly up when oil bust, but you work at an oil company so ergo the company bust. We are not a global company anymore so it is a waste spending the money to fly everyone to Midland everyday, and by their food and lodging. The company decided to put all its eggs in the Permian so from a business stand point there is not a reason to be in Dallas anymore.

If you think centralizing your business in a city that is only supported by an cyclic industry, then you haven't thought everything through clearly. PXD should just have everyone in LCO and only the necessary field personnel out in West Texas. Dallas doesn't go belly up when oil tanks like Midland does...
MCO is trash tbh.
I heard TD's office was going to have a gold toilet seat
Huge waste of money. Why are we spending millions on new furniture for a new building we won’t have enough people to fill anymore? When will the poor decisions stop?
You mean Pioneer's lease on Verizon's new building?
It the “new building” curse. Companies move to fancy new bldg and shortly thereafter, get bought out or go under.
The other way around actually. Midland office doesn’t do anything.
And the new headquarts being built? Seems like waste of money now!
